Am I eligible?
If you are over 18 years of age you can apply for a personal loan. You will need to complete a Kent Finance Application (on this website), and we will consider your application when this has been received.

How much can I borrow?
This will depend on what your income is and what your outgoings are. You must be sure that you have sufficient surplus to repay your loan during the finance contract term.

What is debt consolidation?
You may have several loans which you pay on a regular basis and you may find it more beneficial to have a single monthly repayment to cover these. Kent Finance Limited will look at consolidating these debts into one monthly payment.

What security do I need to offer?
Normally we would require collateral security and this will depend on the amount of your loan, the security required will be assets owned by you. Dependant on your age and affordability, we may ask for a Co-borrower or Guarantor to support your application

How much will it cost?
Your monthly or weekly repayments will depend upon how much you want to borrow.

What if I have had some credit problems?
If you have had credit problems in the past, this may not stop you from obtaining finance in the future. We will need to consider the circumstances regarding this on an individual basis.

Will you finance a vehicle purchased privately?
Yes. You can purchase a motor vehicle privately or from any registered Motor Trader, and you can obtain pre-approved finance by completing our Application Form.

How long can I borrow the money?
This will depend on how much you want to borrow and how much you can afford to re-pay on the loan. Our normal loan term is 36 months but we will consider 48 or 60 months under some circumstances.

How long will it take for finance approval?
When we receive your finance application we will get back to you within 180 minutes (during normal working hours) with a decision. If we require additional information a final decision on your application will be made when all the information has been received.

Can I cover my payments if I become sick or lose my job?
Yes you can cover your repayments by purchasing Payment Protection Insurance and once again this premium can be included in your finance contract.

Do I need to insure my assets?
Where Kent Finance Limited are securing an advance with personal assets, these should be insured at all times.

How often do I pay?
This will depend on how often you get paid. If you are paid weekly we require that your loan repayments are made weekly. This will allow you to budget your expenses more easily.

How do I make the repayments on the loan?
You can pay the required repayments either by Automatic Payment Authority deduction straight out of your Bank Account or, we can ask your employer to pay us directly as a wage deduction from your pay.
